Birthday dinner

Inside the restaurant. It looked like an old Spanish homestead. It had a lot of wood and looked very old inside but very nice.

President and Sister Delamare . He is the Mission President we are assigned to work for for 3 weeks during the closure. They are really nice and it will be such a welcome change to work with them.

It was a birthday celebration for those with Jan. and Feb. Birthdays. I got to be included and this is what the mission Presidents wife gave us.

The young Filipino dancers . They did many dances and were really good.

They got some of the Missionaries to try the dances. This is Elder  Hardick he is a humanitarian missionary.

Sister Hardick. She is from South Africa and the ambassador from South Africa was also in attendance and  he had her maiden name. She is already hooking up for some genealogy work. Amazing how things work out.

Sister Bird, Public Affairs missionaries. We will be working with these couples during our shutdown.

Being sung Happy Birthday to. Elder Burr, Sister Bell, Elder Bird and Me.

We went with the missionaries that are not Temple Missionaries. There duties include, welfare, humanitarian, public affairs, housing, executive secretary to the Area President and the Quezon City Mission President. It was so fun to be with a different crowd. The night was super fun. We went down to the old walled part of the city to a restaurant and culture show at a place called Barbara's . It was a buffet dinner and then different dances from around the Philippines. These are the cute dancers.
