Baguio a city built in the mountains and they are covered with houses some places there was no room in between them.
Tiru's Resort. It is called Elizabeth's Fantasy Resort. Our room was on the 3rd floor on the right. It was a really nice place.
They had 2 big pools but the water was freezing. If you look over the fence to the left. There are squatter houses. A huge contrast.
Mountain side view
This art work was made by using a magnifying glass to burn wood to make the picture.
Top View of Tam-awan village.
This picture is out of order, but this is the view over the fence of Tiru's resort. It is a squatter house built right next to Tiru's only separated by a fence.
Mountain side view of Baguio.
Looking down on the Village from a hike up the hillside.
We at3e lunch at this 50's Diner. They had big hamburgers and shakes.

More hillside views.
Closer view of the quality of the homes.
This neighborhood is a little nicer.
Strawberry fields. First introduced by Americans and is the only region cool enough to grow them in the Philippines. They are a big draw.
This dogs head is painted on a rock on the side of the mountain.
All of the white and the other structures you can see here are a cemetery on the hillside.
View from the top of the mountain passage we will go through. Being from CO this is not as impressive to us than it is to others.
A Rock Lion
A lions head chiseled into and painted on a rock coming our of the mountains.
Cobs of feed corn drying in the street.
This kitchen sink is outside of the sleeping part of the house.
The people who live in the houses . It is their kitchens I took a picture of. They were thrilled when I took their pictures.
The stove
Another view of their stove
A typical elementary school. They all look alike and their is one in every village you drive through.
School kids in uniform.
Another shot of the school
More girls in uniform. They were excited when they saw me take their picture./ Filipinos love to have their pictures taken . It is flattering to them.
