After a very stressful flight with a passenger dying we finally landed in Japan.We then had to stand in line for 2 hours to get a reassignment for a flight out in the morning. We were put up in the Radisson for 4 hours before our next flight.

Grabbing a bite to eat after 10 hours with no food on the flight. Our first time in a real Japanese restaurant.

Proof we were in Japan. The only real Oriental looking thing we saw because our whole time in Japan was in the dark.

Finally arrival at our new home. What a relief and it was so big!

The kitchen lacks a little but it will do.

A sad but  a huge blessing to arrive just in time to be able to fly to Utah to attend my mothers funeral.

We are now orphans. Both of my parents passed away while we have been serving our mission.

Even though we had to go to Utah it was not without it's benefits. We got to meet Jessica Ryan's fiance. and Cindy our newest granddaughter who was born the day after my mother passed away.

The 4th of July was probably the most meaningful I have ever had. I was truly proud to be an American and have all of the freedoms and luxuries it offers. I was emotional with just the posting of the colors.

We had a breakfast with the other missionary couples and went out to dinner for a barbecue. We chose not to go down town and fight the crowd for fireworks. We watched them on TV.

We went to Palmyra for the Hill Cumorah pageant and to see the church History sites during the closure of the temple.It was very inspiring and peaceful and helped to solidify my testimony of the first vision. Moroni appeared to Joseph Smith in this bedroom.

Since we were so close we also went to Niagara Falls

Amazing and beautiful.

It was bigger than I had imagined.

We took a boat ride that took you right to the base of the falls. It was wet but amazing the power of the falls.
