| Our trip to Subic Bay was really fun. We had taken a guide with us and he was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about the Philippines. He answered all of our questions. Subic Bay was the largest American Naval base outside the US. It was in use until 1992. I think we liked it because it looked American. This man was doing a demonstration of bamboo cleaning, cooking, and animal catching for us. |
